ABOUT ME
Currently I am working as a Senior Scientist in the Department of Organic Synthesis and Process Chemistry at the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology Hyderabad.

I obtained the B. Sc. degree from Vidyasagar University (VU) of India in 2005 and obtained M. Sc. degree from the same university in 2007. Then I moved to Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur to study with Professor N. D. Pradeep Singh on Fluorescent Photoremovable Protecting Groups: Design, Development and Biological Applications, and obtained Ph.D. degree in 2012. In Jan 2013 I moved to Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore as a postdoctoral research fellow in Prof. Zhao Yanli’s group. After completing postdoctoral studies I joined CSIR-IICT Hyderabad as a DST INSPIRE Faculty in Nov 2015 - Nov 2020. I continued my research as SERB - Research Scientist at CSIR -IICT from Nov 2020 - Jul 2021. Jul 2021 I joined as Senior Scientist.

My research interest is the design and development of photoresponsive nano-materials for drug delivery and bioimaging and heterogeneous catalysis/photocatalysis.
